It's like I just can't delete my account. I think, "what if I want to come back? I won't have that satisfying 'deviant for 4 years' tag to make me feel better about being here," but at the same time I would really like to just leave it all behind and find another way to manage my portfolio.
I never really wanted to be an artist, so I never kept the art that I did. I wanted to be an actress when I was ten. Shortly after that I wanted to be a lawyer, but that aspiration didn't last long. Artist never really cropped up, anyway, but as it turns out I am making more money on art than anything else I've ever done -- proportional to effort -- so I'll happily accept the title... until I get to do something cooler like wrestling sharks or blowing up refrigerators on Youtube for a living.
Right now my focus is organizing a zombie walk, which is really a lot of work for an event where people just walk slowly. On top of that is a web design and logo commission, which is super awesome because I just love to do these things, and writing and designing a poetry book. It's an assignment, and I'm no poet, so expect many illustrations to distract from the actual "poetry". I also get to participate in a glam vintage fashion show next month, which has me in girly giggle fits over my love of dressing up.
Three paragraphs (and all OVER the place)! I don't keep blogs -- I never expect anyone to read them, and it's weird for me to have one. It's like writing a diary entry and leaving it on a bench somewhere. I mainly wrote this entry to see if I could rededicate myself to this site. I'm thinking it won't last long, but I'll give it another go, with a fresher supply of art and pseudo-witticisms.
